For the former Mötley Crüe front man’s Las Vegas strip tattoo shop, Harrah’s Entertainment requested an innovative online experience to celebrate the shop’s first year anniversary.
Working closely with Comrade's Creative Partner, Darren Murata, we came up with the “Vince Neil Ink Skin Show”, a microsite/tattoo contest that generated scripted comedic video snippets of Vince Neil and Harrah’s personality’s judging tattoos entered in the online contest.
A perk to this project was flying to Las Vegas to work with Vince Neil and team on the video production. Working from my script, I also assisted in directing the video footage.
The microsite was a big hit with over 1,000 entries from across the U.S. and Canada, and a 75% opt-in rate for future emails from the tattoo studio.
